Venable recommends that the analyzer system be calibrated once a year to maintain optimal working condition. Calibration service is available at the Austin facilities.
Venable calibration services currently cover the following analyzers: Model 250, Model 220, Model 350, Model 3120, Model 3215, and Model 3225.
One feature of Venable analyzer systems is the software generation of Bode plots for designers. Customers who need Bode plot data, but who have not yet purchased a complete Venable system, may take advantage of our Bode plot laboratory services.
The Venable Laboratory facility in Austin is fully equipped for any Bode plot test and analysis required. A Venable applications engineer will provide customer assistance in test set-up, generation, and analysis of Bode plot data.
A Venable engineering consultant is always available to provide engineering services using customer equipment. If needed Venable equipment is not available to the customer, it will be provided on a rental basis. The customer may also work with Venable Instruments applications engineers to solve testing, design, or measurement issues on customer equipment using the Venable Laboratory facilities in Austin, Texas.
Stability measurement of customer equipment, such as switching power supplies, DC servo systems, etc., is available from our applications engineering department. This service includes redesigning loop compensation as necessary for optimum performance.

Venable currently offers the following consulting services and rates:
Venable performs testing and analysis of power electronics circuits and feedback loops at the customer's facility. There is an eight (8) hour daily minimum for this service, including travel days. Expenses are billed at actual.
Seminar on Impedance Testing is a two-day seminar covering the theory and practice of impedance measurements and the use of these measurements in determining power system stability. Venable Instruments provides course notes and demonstration equipment.
There must be a minimum of 3 customers for a seminar. Expenses for two seminar staff will be billed at actual in addition to the per person fee.
Regional seminars are conducted at conferences and trade shows throughout the United States. Venable seminars provide the latest technical information and updates to the power electronics industry and to companies engaged in feedback loop circuit design.
Customer training programs on the technical and cost-saving benefits of Venable integrated systems are available on request for companies and independent consultants.
